I thought this would make a neat gift to a daughter who seems to have everything. Loved food. Is crazy about convenience. Is made about film night at home in front of the log burner.

Not impressed, the lid keeps popping open during cooking the popcorn throwing out all the popped popcorn in the microwave and making a mess

Doesn’t work. It opens when cooking but falls over in microwave and doesn’t cool all of the kernels

Lid should open once all the kernels have popped. The lids on my makers were opening before the device even went in the microwave. Of course the lid continued to open almost as soon as the cooking process had started resulting in kernels being ejected all over the microwave.

Very surprised that this popcorn maker from Joseph Joseph is so useless!! I can’t even keep the lid shut before it goes in the microwave and when the lid is secure enough it pops open and the popcorn is all over the microwave. Also left with lots of unpopped kernels. I have resorted to using a microwave saucepan with a fitted lid so the popcorn doesn’t escape so feel I completely wasted my money.. and it wasn’t cheap!

So expensive, and doesn’t even work. The flaps don’t stay closed, so you end up with popcorn all over your microwave AND half un-popped in the container. Truly useless, not fit for purpose. I contacted m&s customer service who were nearly as useless as the product. Such an expensive waste of money I’m gutted.
